North Paddington Canalside Festival: Weaving Waves
A Communal Weaving project at Westway Canalside using reclaimed textiles and collective creativity

Dream overview
Weaving Waves is a participatory community arts project on the fully accessible Floating Classroom, part of the North Paddington Canalside Festival — and a response to Second Hand September.
We invite local residents, boaters, schoolchildren, emerging artists, and fabric & fashion companies to use reclaimed fabrics and co-create a woven installation beneath the Westway. Together, we will transform a space often seen as dark and industrial into a place of care and imagination.
